SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed concerning the large range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area daily. The support position made for intervention activities a superior influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to empower the servicing of all prospects and improve access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
